TG Ski are currently recruiting for a talented chef to cater for our luxury 10-person chalet in Morzine, France.
We are looking for a bright, independent, hardworking and flexible chef to cook a modern international menu six nights a week for 10-11 guests.
You will be required to cook to a high standard of cuisine including: breakfast, afternoon tea cakes, canapés and 3-course evening meal. In addition to this you will look after menu planning and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Responsibilities will include designing a fine dining 6-day 3-course evening menu, with canapés for our boutique chalet in Morzine, contacting guests prior to arrival to discuss menu preferences and any special dietary requirements.
You will work closely with a host that will look after the front of house and maintain chalet standards but you will also be a main part of the guests’ holiday so you must be personable and presentable.
Professional Experience in the catering industry/high end chalets or super yachts
You must have a passion for food and excellent team skills
Ideally you’ll hold a recognised catering qualification OR have built up extensive work experience in kitchens.
Couples are considered as a chalet host role is available too.
You must also have a valid work permit if you are from outside the EU, a National insurance number and a UK bank account.
